I qualified in OND Agriculture (distinction) in England in 1985. Since then I have been an arable producer in England and for the last 17 years a dairy farmer of 140 high yielding Holstein Friesian cows in France. I also produce wheat, oilseed rape, maize for silage and grain, and grassland on a farm totalling 280 hectares.

I have also briefly farmed in Texas, USA, with a dairy unit of 450 cows.
