Nomination

AngusWOOF (talk · contribs) – I urge the community to consider AngusWOOF for access to the admin toolset. An active contributor since joining around six to seven years ago, AngusWOOF has a commendable track record of helping out the project, and could do more as an admin.

Having over 88,000 mainspace contributions - 78% of his current total of nearly 113,000 - AngusWOOF has an excellent history of content addition, and a brief look at his contributions even shows that he goes out of his way just to make short, yet helpful edit summaries! While article creation is not necessarily his strong point, that doesn't even come close to meaning he's bad at creating articles, and a look at some of his creations (such as List of Star vs. the Forces of Evil characters, Kari Wahlgren filmography, and Talking Tom and Friends (TV series)) will yield good writing and adequate references.

More so, AngusWOOF has some rather dedicated participation at RfD (1, 2, 3, 4), with well-reasoned !votes and a very high match percentage (link). He also takes part in a few AfD discussions (1, 2), with similar well-reasoned !votes. Also, if AngusWOOF finds an article he deems unsuitable, he doesn't just rush it to AfD only rushes it to AfD as a last resort; most of the time, he instead moves it to the draftspace so that it can be worked on.

In addition to this, AngusWOOF is a civil and competent editor, being able to cope with even some of the toughest situations without creating more drama than is needed (I was especially impressed here and here), and I haven't seen a single negative or overly condescending response, even by just a touch. Overall, I'm confident that AngusWOOF will do great as an administrator. ToThAc (talk)
