Mercy Rule was an American heavy metal/hard rock band formed in Detroit, Michigan in 1986.
Regency Records
[edit]Mercy Rule was invited to include a song on Regency Records compilation album, Underground Metal. This song allowed them to gain the attention of both Kerrang! and R.E.X. Records.
R.E.X. Records
[edit]Mercy Rule released their only recording, OverRuled, with R.E.X. in 1989. They had a one record agreement, with an option for two. The second record was never released. The band disbanded in the summer of 1990.
