• The Universe is the result of Randomness and Chaos, and complex systems emerge from simplicity
• Preserving the environment is important
• Human Rights, Pluralism, and Egalitarianism are fundamental in a Democracy
• There is more to life and satisfaction than the acquisition of material goods
• The highest form of "pleasure" is found in Love, Knowledge, Culture, Art, Music, Freedom and Creativity (Not necessarily in that order)
