  • Original 1996 Cup final played on Nov 25, 1996, between Caspiy and Elimai. Elimai won, but refused to take the trophy unless FA chairman resigned. He refused, the result was annulled, and a new final was ordered, played in April 1997, between Kairat and Vostok.
