North Sydney Bears

[edit]

At the conclusion of the 1980 english season several Australian clubs chased Ah Kuoi's signature with the North Sydney Bears eventually winning his signature for the 1981 season. He would then fail to live upto the hype that surrounded him while playing in Australia where he had several niggling injuries and failing to string many good performances together.

After three sub-par performances with the Bears Ah Kuoi decided to return to England.
