Jugendstil ... Jugendstil was an artistic movement that occurred in Germany and arose in the late 1800s. The movement continued on throughout the mid twentieth century. The name Jugendstil come from the Munich weekly magazine Die Jugend, which means youth style. The artistic style is closely related, and most often times confused with Art Nouveau.
