Minnesota's 1st Senate District is one of 67 Senate districts in Minnesota. It is represented by DFLer LeRoy A. Stumpf of Plummer. The district encompasses 7,648 square miles (19,808 km2) in the northwest corner of Minnesota in the counties of Kittson, Roseau, Marshall, Pennington, Red Lake, and Polk. The district contains the cities of Thief River Falls, Crookston, and Roseau.
