Ammar bin Navaz

Ammar bin Navas (born 10 September 2011) is a Maldivian Junior footballer who trains with Maldives Soccer Mates Academy. He is primarily a winger, but can also play as a striker. Ammar's goal is to be one of the top players of Maldives and to play football abroad, professionally.

Football Journey

Ammar started playing football at the age of 5. His first tournament was the Inter-class football tournament organised by Dhondhooni Little Learners Pre-school Maldives. He then represented his school's Dhondhooni Little Learners Pre-school (2017) and Ahmadhiyya International School

(2019) at the Milo Football Fiesta.

Ammar was on the under 8 squad that represented MSM Acadamy Team at the Selangor International Soccer Tournament, Malaysia. This was his first international tournament. Despite his young age of 10 he was selected to be part of the under 12 team that went to the Selangor International

Soccer Tournament, Malaysia in 2022.

Training

Ammar has been training with Maldives Soccer Mates Academy since 2016. He attends 3 sessions weekly and also does personal training with Naufal Coach to improve his skills and strengths.

Achievements

At age 5, he was selected among the best 5 players in his Inter-Class Football Tournament held by Dhondhooni Little Learners Pre-school. Ammar's football team won the Milo Football Fiesta in 2017. His best achievement is to be selected to play for the Under 12 Youth League held by Football Association of Maldives in 2022. Ammar played for TC Sports Club and scored 7 goals for his team..
