2nd request: Hi. We appreciate your enthusiasm but complex maintenance tasks are not for beginners. I have reverted the PROD you placed on Satyajitsinh Vikramsinh Patankar and replaced it with the correct template. Please consider doing some more simpler tasks such as patrolling for vandalism until you have more experience. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask me on my talk page. Happy editing! My submission at Articles for creation: FRIENDS - The National Association of Young People Who Stutter (June 14)
Dear garmine - you have rejected my submission stating "not adequately supported by reliable sources" yet I followed the guidance of others and cited two newspaper articles. What else would you like to see? This organization is a bonafide non-profit 501.3(c) organization. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dasamson1 (talk • contribs) 19:15, 14 June 2017 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) @Dasamson1: The sources are not reliable, and you need independent third party sources to show notability. If you want more help, stop by at the WP:Teahouse. KGirlTrucker81 huh? what I've been doing 19:21, 14 June 2017 (UTC)

So an actual newspaper article from the Columbus Dispatch (https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/The_Columbus_Dispatch) is not a valid, reliable third party? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dasamson1 (talk • contribs) 19:47, 14 June 2017 (UTC)
- @Dasamson1: It's just a local newspaper that is not independent. KGirlTrucker81 huh? what I've been doing 19:54, 14 June 2017 (UTC)
@KGirlTrucker81 - it is precisely what I was advised to do by Wikipedia forums - Reference third parties, such as newspaper articles. It is independent of me. I can create a web site, but I cannot create a newspaper and publish articles. What on earth can I do to prove this is a real organzation? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.117.145.130 (talk) 20:11, 14 June 2017 (UTC)
- Guys, I have to share Dasamson1's puzzlement. The Columbus Dispatch is the only daily-circulation newspaper in the 14th-largest city (by population) in the United States. Julia Oller is a nationally-syndicated writer whose articles appear in the Dispatch as well as at least 17 other publications, including US News and World Report. Her article published in the Dispatch and cited here concerned a national organization and was not strictly local coverage. You have told Dasamson1 that the cited source must be published, independent and reliable, but you have failed to explain how the cited source fails that test (and I can't imagine). That the article (I suspect) happens to also mention the contributor of the article here does not cause the source to fail the test, because the Wikipedia article is not about the contributor, it is about the organization (and does not mention the contributor, who I am assuming is not formally connected with the organization other than being a beneficiary of its services). General Ization Talk 20:34, 14 June 2017 (UTC)
- (@Dasamson1: This is not to say that your article satisfies all the requirements for notability as it pertains to organizations. I am mainly reacting to what I think is a red herring when it comes to describing the articles you supplied as sources as "unreliable" or not "independent". But you really do need more sources from more publications to establish notability. Assuming you were trying to do the organization a favor, a bigger favor would be to suggest to them that they should start compiling major press mentions on their Web site; they have failed to include the Dispatch article there, or any other press I can find. Perhaps they can point you to other press they have received, in which case it could be cited here.) General Ization Talk 21:21, 14 June 2017 (UTC)
- @Dasamson1: One last comment: no one is asking you to prove that the organization exists; you are given the benefit of the doubt that it does. The standard for inclusion in an encyclopedia is not mere existence, but notability. Please read the article at that link to gain an understanding of what that means. General Ization Talk 23:37, 14 June 2017 (UTC)
Thank you for the information. FRIENDS - The National Association of Young People who stutter is a volunteer organization that I am trying to help become more notable. I can add more articles for reference, such as the following, but I really did not want to do so because I wanted to protect people's privacy. http://articles.chicagotribune.com/2012-07-24/news/ct-met-colorado-shooting-teacher-20120724_1_special-education-teacher-annual-convention-shootings I can work with the organization for a "press release" type of page on the website. I thought getting the organization on Wikipedia (like the National Stuttering Association) would be a great first step. Thanks again. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dasamson1 (talk • contribs) 00:08, 15 June 2017 (UTC)
- @Dasamson1: The Chicago Tribune article does not work because it mentions the organization only in the context that someone said to be connected with the organization played a role in the aftermath of the Aurora theater shooting. It is not about the organization, and doesn't provide any verification of the claims in your article; it is completely irrelevant to the subject of the article. A press release on the organization's Web site doesn't work because it is a primary source, and not independent of the subject. I really think you need to do some more research before you make another attempt to create an article. I strongly encourage you to read the links to information about Wikipedia policies in this discussion. Creating an article in the encyclopedia is not a way to make an organization notable; you are putting the cart before the horse. General Ization Talk 00:16, 15 June 2017 (UTC)

@General Ization - I was following your lead about a press release page, "a bigger favor would be to suggest to them that they should start compiling major press mentions on their Web site"... then you stated, " A press release on the organization's Web site doesn't work because it is a primary source, and not independent of the subject". I think you miss understood what I intended. I will diligently comb the web for relevant, independent, articles about our organization. Again, as you pointed out "more sources from more publications to establish notability". I would think the first two articles I cited were sufficient as those reporters contacted us for their stories, and this was precisely what others in the Wikipedia forum suggested. Perhaps this is more of what Wikipedia is looking for: http://sunny95.com/perspective/help-with-stuttering/

You declined Draft:Tandem Michael-aldol reaction as a non-notable biography, but the draft is not a biography at all. It is about a chemical reaction. Help
@The Garmine. I understand that my article Whiteplains British School was first deleted based on violation of Wikipedia policy on promotion and advertisement. But I have tried to fundamentally re-write the article to suit Wikipedian policies. I demand that the previous article be deleted, while this current one be accepted, as I have tried to include reliable independent sources for verification. Also, I have tried to remain balanced, unbiased, and neutral in my tone14:17, 16 June 2017 (UTC)Nwachinazo (talk), as I do not have any conflict of interest (COI)in the article. Therefore, I think the current article should be given a Wikipedia page as soon as possible.
- @Nwachinazo: I see. What I did was remove a sandbox template as there were 2 templates, one right above the other. The garmine (talk) 14:34, 16 June 2017 (UTC)
- @Nwachinazo: I did not review it, I removed a template. When it is reviewed, you will get a message on your talk page saying wether it was accepted (moved to an article) or declined (meaning there is something required before it can be accepted). The garmine (talk) 14:38, 16 June 2017 (UTC)
@The Germane: Hope the sandbox template you removed is not the current one, as i have tried to update the old oneNwachinazo (talk) 15:20, 16 June 2017 (UTC).
