Evidence

It starts several weeks ago when I stumbled across these WP:VSCA articles on WP:NPP @ 05:34, 26 May 2007 (UTC):

 1. Paul Ulrich (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) - himself
 2. Jing Ulrich (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) - his wife
 3. Saudi Match Point (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) - his first novel
 4. Blacksmith Books (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) - his publisher

I did not realize it at the time, but Doc Tropics (talk · contribs) added this @ 03:01, 26 May 2007 (UTC):

... and we entered a new phase of the drama @ 05:16, 27 May 2007 (UTC):

Epilogue: After the first three articles were deleted by the AfD process, within 24 hours Some Other Editor (probably a WP:SOCK for the publisher) recreated Saudi Match Point, but it was speedy deleted ... that left only Jing Ulrich under discussion at WP:COI/N, and after WP:A issues were raised, it was proposed that it also be taken to AfD ... that's when I remembered (4 June 2007) a comment that Pulrich left on his talk page, so I suggested that someone flag it as a WP:CSD#G7 referencing the author's comment, and it was gone less than 15 minutes after a db-author was hung on it ... case closed, and the discussion has been archived. —72.75.70.147 06:09, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

During the above incident, User:Pulrich's talk page was frequently edited by anon User:202.82.31.75, and later by User:Breezer84, to remove warnings and comments about the deleted articles ... User:Breezer84 participated in the AfD for Paul Ulrich although User:Pulrich did not ... User:BTjain was the user who tried to recreate Saudi Match Point (User:202.82.31.75 uploaded the new cover image for it) and User:Breezer84 deleted my comment about the recreation from User:Pulrch's talk page.

User:Pulrich made extensive "cosmetic" edits to The Simpsons, apparently in an attempt to clean up their edit history and start a new reputation as a WP:GNOME, but gave up after a few days.

Skip forward a few weeks ... I noticed that the gang from Hong Kong is back @ 09:36, 21 June 2007 (UTC) ...

I became aware of these edits after I noticed that User:Pulrich and User:BTjain had both censored their own talk pages within minutes of each other, and that links were being added to the newly recreated Jing Ulrich article. I also noticed a link to the publisher's site for the Saudi Match Point book had been added to Saudi Arabia:

 • (cur) (last) 13:14, 16 June 2007 867xx5209 (Talk | contribs) m (49,905 bytes) (→External links)
 • (cur) (last) 13:03, 16 June 2007 202.82.31.75 (Talk) (49,791 bytes) (→Culture - added back in the names of Saudi novelists)

Within ten minutes of this "innocuous" edit by User:202.82.31.75, User:867xx5209 makes their very first contribution to Wikipedia, and it's a link for a book whose article was deleted by an AfD, then immediately recreated by User:BTjain ... I believe that this irrefutably ties these three together.

Here are some excerpts from my edit history ...

Comments
Note: The deletion of CLSA is being discussed at Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2007 June 23#CLSA @ 09:42, 23 June 2007 (UTC) ... three of these suspect accounts made the initial comments.
Note: See Talk:Gary Coull for accusations and personal attacks against me by User:867xx5209 and User:Chance in HK ... I think that my reply may have stretched the corners of the envelope on Civility, but, hey! they're meatpuppets who said Bad Things about me, so I don't feel obligated to assume good faith with regards to them. —72.75.70.147 16:47, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
Note: Recent edits to Talk:Jing Ulrich (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) confirm that User:202.82.31.75 is the IP account for User:867xx5209, and since this is the IP who blanked User:Pulrich's talk page on 29 May 2007 (to delete/hide numerous warning messages), I think that it effectively closes the loop. :-) —72.75.70.147 04:23, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
Note: I just discovered 152.75.200.38 (talk · contribs), who vandalized User Talk:BTjian (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) (to remove references to the deleted article about Saudi Match Point (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)) and one of my draft protocols, User talk:68.239.79.82/Warn-book (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) (to remove references to the deleted article about Paul Ulrich (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)) ... probably done from an Internet cafe in Hong Kong, but both were reversed by Some Other Editor, so I never even noticed them before today. —72.75.85.234 03:04, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
Note: I placed a PROD on Gary Coull, and a courtesy notification on the talk page for the author, User:Chance in HK ... within a few hours, User:867xx5209 removed the PROD after adding three references to obituaries, and also left another (unsigned) personal attack against me on the article's discussion page. —72.75.85.234 17:31, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
User:202.82.31.75 made a minor edit to the article (didn't like that I had wikilinked "boutique brokerage"), immediately followed by User:867xx5209 attempting to remove their personal attacks from the talk page (I reverted their deletions) ... then they commented on the additions at the DRV for CLSA. —72.75.85.234 11:41, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
Note: After a period of inactivity, Gnome84 (talk · contribs) (author of CLSA) has resurfaced, tagging Hong Kong related articles for deletion. —72.75.85.234 17:02, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
Conclusions

867xx5209 (talk · contribs) has been posting personal attacks against me on article talk pages (see Talk:Gary Coull and Talk:Jing Ulrich) and the deletion review for an article (see Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2007 June 23#CLSA), accusing me of intentionally changing my IP address/username, when both my talk page and others linked to it make it very clear that my DSL connection changes at random intervals (as it did just a few hours ago) ... OTOH, this edit shows that they have been using both a registered account and an IP account to make malicious edits against me at the same time ... I have tried to move our discussions into user space, but they (a) have not left any messages on my talk page, and (b) have not responded to messages left on any of their various talk pages.

User:Chance in HK, User:867xx5209, and User:202.82.31.75 have all posted comments on the same deletion review, and in personal attacks against me on more than one article talk page.

I'm not sure which accounts are sockpuppets (being used by Pulrich (talk · contribs) himself) and which are meatpuppets (friends of User:Pulrich acting on his behalf), but User:867xx5209 and User:202.82.31.75 are indeed the same, and while I have tried to maintain WP:Civility, my patience is at an end, and their persistence in making personal attacks (even after I have provided them with links that refute their allegations) leaves me no recourse but to ask for intervention by posting this report.

Respectfully submitted, —72.75.85.234 (talk · contribs) 13:43, 24 June 2007 (UTC)

Epilogue

The sockpuppet BTjian (talk · contribs) has returned and attempted to vandalize this page ... they just don't seem to understand that the previous versions will always be available, and any attempts at "blanking" are both cosmetic and futile. —72.75.79.128 (talk · contribs) 21:39, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
