The University of Chicago protests of 1969 were among the many student demonstrations that occurred in the United States during the late 1960's.

Protests
[edit]The protests ended February 14, 1969.[1][2]
Fallout
[edit]42 University of Chicago students were expelled and 81 suspended by the administration for their part in the sit-in.[3]
In books and films
[edit]- Hum 255, Directed by Kartemquin Films (Documentary, 1969).[1][2] Some of the expelled students return to campus to profess their radicalism and talk about the event.
