Rishabh Gupta (born 01 August 1992) commonly known by his stage name the PROJEKT, is an Indian DJ/Music Producer. He is best known for his single "Shout", which got approx. 1 lakh views on YouTube. His passion for music started at the age of 8 through learning to play guitar. By the age of 18 he attempted For Guinness World Records by playing guitar continuous for 60 Hours he and expressed interest in becoming a Musician .His idol was Dr A. R. Rahman, inspiring him to start composing.He learned music production under the guidance of Dr A. R. Rahman himself.
The Projekt has been releasing quite a bit of new music like Ranjha and including some really cool remixes of popular tracks like Shape Of You, Something Just Like This, and Starboy. His latest track Volt crossed 1 million plays on SoundCloud in a month. It’s received tremendous response for a track by an upcoming homegrown artist.
