Independent circuit (2019–Present)
[edit]Hunter wrestled extensively on the independent circuit for various promotions in the Northeastern USA, primarily for Ring Wars Carolina (RWC) under the ring name Hunter Raynor / Hunter. While in the RWC, Raynor won the promotion's Ring Wars Carolina Jr. Heavyweight Championship becoming the longest reigning champion before losing it to James Anthony on May 29, 2022, after 240 days.[2] Hunter also has made his name known in the company Deadlock Pro-Wrestling (DPW)[3] by wrestling 1/2 of the tag team champions at the time, Chance Ryzer in 2022 [4] and subsequently wrestling Krule [5] in 2023. In early 2023, Hunter branched out more and found a home in Firestar Pro Wrestling [6] and became a regular on the shows “Afterburn” program. In 2024, Hunter competed in Firestar’s “Path to Glory” tournament, losing out in the first round to Alexander Moss. In April 2024, Hunter ran his first professional wrestling event, titled “Dawg House” [7] which featured many starts from the North Carolina independent scene, such as LaBron Kozone, Bojack, and Andrew Everett, the latter of whom faced Hunter in a No Disqualification match in the main event.
