PURPOSE OF MY PRESENCE

[edit]

Online pathology texts, which are encyclopedias, have many advantages. We pathologists can add images, garner comments about their validity or lack, thereof, & replace them as needed. As many supplemental images as desired can be added, lending a scope to the practice not available in regular textbooks. Text & tables can be added & edited ad libitum. Impossible is any individual's reading all the current literature on any topic, but with multiple pathologists at work, information about every article, say, in American Journal of Surgical Pathology or Human Pathology, can be added every month by any pathologist, which will help all in our diagnostic work, which benefits patients. To this end, the benefit of patients & the facilitation of our diagnostic work, I exist in Wikipedia.

ACTIVITIES

[edit]

I will begin by adding information from current articles in journals on a daily basis, which will keep me up to date. After time, I will add photomicrographs taken from my microscope of the entities in question, as is being done on several pages.

I will also be practicing my skills here first in every case. Please do not think the practice sessions are anything but that.

Well, I lost my address & so am now TexasPathologist1, but will keep using this page out of convenience, my Yahoo email address is TexasPathologist@yahoo.com Gross dictations were created suitable for my practice based upon the following references[2][3][4], and are provisioned here after speaking with other pathologists at the CAP House of Delegates this weekend in Chicago. One might simply download the gross dictations as needed as a word file, copy the dictation of interest, & use as indicated by the institution’s computer system. Obviously, I will be changing them over time & will alter them as needed. Any suggestions are deeply appreciated.
