KORIKOV Oleh (December 13, 1970, Odesa) is a Ukrainian nuclear engineer. Specialist in the field of nuclear and radiation safety, operation of nuclear power plants. On 15 December 2021, he was appointed Acting Chairman of the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine (SNRIU) - Chief State Nuclear and Radiation Safety Inspector of Ukraine.

Biography

Was born on December 13, 1970 in Odesa.

Education

1994 - graduated from the Obninsk Institute of Nuclear Energy, specializing in "Nuclear Power Plants and Installations" and received the qualification of engineer - physicist-thermal engineer.

1999 - received postgraduate education at the International Institute of Management MIM-Kyiv, degree "Master of Business Administration".

Activities

From 1993 to 2018 he has worked at State Enterprise National Nuclear Energy Generating Company "Energoatom" (SE NNEGC "Energoatom"). He started as a machinist - operator of turbine equipment of the 6th group of the turbine department of the operational unit of power unit No.3 of Zaporizhzhia NPP. Later - as a Director for Investments and Prospective Development of SE NNEGC "Energoatom".

At the South Ukrainian NPP for 8 years he was in charge of the projects of reconstruction of the technical water supply system, construction of the Tashlyk PSPP, implementation of HOLTEC technology.

From 2018 to 2020 - Director of the Department of Nuclear Energy and Nuclear Industrial Complex of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine.

From 2020 to 2021 - Deputy General Director - Technical Director at the State Specialized Enterprise "Central Enterprise for Radioactive Waste Management".

Since June 16, 2021 - First Deputy Chairman of the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine - Deputy Chief State Nuclear and Radiation Safety Inspector of Ukraine, in accordance with the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 641-r dated June 16, 2021.

From December 15, 2021 to the current period - Acting Head of the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine - Chief State Nuclear and Radiation Safety Inspector of Ukraine. Order of the of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1674-r dated December 15, 2021.
