Star Wars: The Clone Wars

[edit]

Fives, designation number CT-27-5555, is a soldier of the Grand Army of the Republic fighting in the Clone Wars against the Separatist battle droid army.[1] As a clone trooper, he was cloned on Kamino from bounty hunter Jango Fett and ages at an accelerated rate, aging twenty years in ten years.[2][3]

Fives is introduced in season one of The Clone Wars television series, in which he is assigned to a listening outpost near the planet Kamino. The outpost is invaded by battle droids ahead of General Grievous, who intends to capture the listening station as a stepping stone to attacking Kamino. With the help of Captain Rex and Commander Cody, the outpost is destroyed to alert the fleet to Grevious' plan. Fives and fellow trooper Echo are the only troopers from the outpost to survive, and they are reassigned to the 501st Legion under the command of Captain Rex and Jedi Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano.
