[edit]Ted Vernon (born October 17, 1948) is an American reality TV personality, actor, producer and entrepreneur who is best known for starring in the reality TV show South Beach Classics.
His notable roles in film include the titular protagonist of Hammerhead Jones (1987), horror film Scarecrows (1988), himself as a pacifist art collector in the action film Death Print (2009), and father of an autistic child in drama Special Angelz (2008).
Early and personal life
[edit]Vernon was born on October 17, 1948 in Long Island, NY. He currently resides in Miami, FL where he serves as the owner of Ted Vernon Specialty Automobiles, the largest collection of antique vehicles in the state of Florida.
Career
[edit]The Discovery Channel
In March 2011 Vernon began to appear in the reality television series South Beach Classics, which aired on The Discovery Channel, in which he purchased, sold, and exchanged classic vehicle models.
