Hello, here I'm Ted.the.nuke. My name is not Ted - Ted is derived from Theodore Roosevelt, which is a reference to the US Navy Nimitz-class aircraft carrier. I reference it because it is powered by the largest nuclear reactors I've operated. And now the nuke should be self-explanatory. If not, here is the explanation - operators of nuclear power plants on US Navy ships are known as nukes - so, there you have it.
I'd prefer to stay anonymous here, but I will give some bona fides. I was a nuclear Electrican's Mate, First Class when I left the US Navy. I was a nuke's nuke - in a group of bright and technically savvy young men, I was among the brightest, and most technically savvy. I graduated top of my class in NFAS and top 10% of NNPS, and top in my section. I received award plaques stating such. Additionally, I have scored well enough on a standardized examination of intelligence to qualify for Mensa. I am not currently a member. I may qualify for even more exclusive so-called "high IQ" societies, but I've not tested.
My point is I'm intelligent, and I believe that I have the potential to contribute significantly to society as a whole by providing superior research skills and presenting the obtained information clearly and concisely.
Here is a synopsis of my technical experience:
