Hi, I'm Thom Uebele.

I'm neither a financial contributor nor a scholar of significance; though occasionally, I've had ideas of starting my own suject-matter specific wiki or contributing to WikipediA when I'd gotten the itch to research something and found gaps here that could have been filled. I'm not a fan of other wiki markup, like PmWiki which drives me nuts; so I'm happy to finally arrive here, with all of you.

My first post

I'd heard an NPR story that I wanted more info on, and I found the answers in an article or two online, which became the perfect opportunity to add this story to WikipediA's historical record. So, I created an "In popular culture" entry about the Trump's request to borrow a van Gogh painting for the Executive Residence, and the response they got from The Guggenheim.
