Bibliography
[edit]Cooke, Ashley. The Architecture of Mastaba Tombs in the Unas Cemetery[1]
This is a university book discussing Memphite mastabas of the old kingdom. It talks about some of the history and background of the tombs, and extensively about their structure.
Snape, Steven R. Ancient Egyptian Tombs: The Culture of Life and Death[2]
This is a another book, published as a textbook by a reliable source, that discusses tombs and their surrounding cultural influences in ancient Egypt.
Teeter, Emily. Religion and Ritual in Ancient Egypt. Cambridge Univ. Press, 2012.[3]
This book, also published by a university, discusses the culture of death in ancient Egypt. Although it does not discuss mastabas in depth, it is helpful for context, as well as the timeline.

Outline of proposed changes
[edit]Add more information about the structure of mastabas, and how they might vary with culture and period. Clarify the timeline of their construction, as well as any other dates that might be unclear. Refine language to have more of a neutral tone. It may be most helpful to add a separate category, explaining the floor plan, instead of it being included with the structure. This will make it more readable and give a more in-depth view.
Now that you have compiled a bibliography, it's time to plan out how you'll improve your assigned article.
In this section, write up a concise outline of how the sources you've identified will add relevant information to your chosen article. Be sure to discuss what content gap your additions tackle and how these additions will improve the article's quality. Consider other changes you'll make to the article, including possible deletions of irrelevant, outdated, or incorrect information, restructuring of the article to improve its readability or any other change you plan on making. This is your chance to really think about how your proposed additions will improve your chosen article and to vet your sources even further. Note: This is not a draft. This is an outline/plan where you can think about how the sources you've identified will fill in a content gap. |
