Tadeusz works with groups including the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, Royal Winnipeg Ballet (Associate Music Director, Principal Pianist) and Manitoba Chamber Orchestra. This is Mr. Biernacki's 24th season with the Manitoba Opera as Assistant Music Director, Chorus Master and Rehearsal Pianist.

Winner of the K. Szmanowski Piano Competition in Warsaw and recipient of the F. Chopin Piano Scholarship, Mr. Biernacki has performed internationally as a piano soloist.

Mr. Biernacki has conducted major orchestras across Canada, as well as internationally, including the Tessaloniki State Orchestra, St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, Kaohsiung City Symphony Orchestra and the Hong Kong Sinfonietta. He has also written orchestral arrangements for the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, NAC Orchestra, and others.

Mr. Biernacki’s latest arrangement, a ballet Charlies Kreuzfahrt commissioned by Chemnitz Theatre (Germany) received its world premiere in March 2005.

Since 2001 he has been Music Director of Saskatoon Opera where he has conducted Don Giovanni, The Magic Flute, Don Pasquale, Carmen, The Barber of Seville, and Die Fledermaus.

His most recent work as a conductor with Manitoba Opera includes The Elixir of Love, Don Giovanni, Così fan tutte, and The Magic Flute.
