Former Senior Minister Syed Pervaiz Ali Shah Ali Known as Fateh Pir Pagara contested in the elections of 1988, 1992 and 1996 taking a lead of 80,000 against Sayyid Shah Mardan Shah-II president of Pakistan Muslim League (F). He was known to be one of the most honest politicians of his time, served 2 generations of the leadership of Pakistan peoples Party leaders Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and his daughter Benazir Bhutto when he was also awarded as the chief commissioner of Pakistan Boy scouts Association.
