Hadz Petro Ivanovych

Ukrainian businessman, public figure, musician, teacher.

Petro Ivanovych Hadz [1] ( born August 21, 1960, Ternopil region, Buchach district, Zelena village) – is an Ukrainian businessman, public figure, musician and teacher. Hadz holds the position of Chairman of the company’s supervisory board “Buchachagrokhlibprom” [2] (Ternopil region), chairman of the regional association council “Ternopil regional council of the agricultural enterprises” , deputy chairman of the Agrarian Union of Ukraine, Hero of Ukraine( Heroy Ukrayiny).

1. Early life.

Graduated from Buchach Children’s Music School (accordion class), Ternopil Music School (1978), Kyiv Institute of Culture (1986, nowadays Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts).

Worked as a music teacher in Monasturusk (1979-1980), Dzuryn village, Chortkiv district (1980-1983), director of the music school in Yazlivtsy (1984-1995).

From 1983 to 1984 Petro Hadz worked in Buchach State Farm Technical School ( Buchach Radhosp- Tekhnikum). Hadz was a private entrepreneur from 1995 to 2001. Since 2001, Petro Hadz is a director of the VAT “Buchach Kombinat Khliboproduktiv”.

On September 21, 2005 ( Sunday), became the President of the football club “Kolos”, Buchach.

Political activity

Deputy of the Ternopil Regional Council of the 4^th convocation (2002-2006), deputy of Buchach district council and the member of the standing commission on agro –industrial complex and land policy.

In autumn 2015:

- Excluded from the ranks of the Agrarian Party of Ukraine;

- Registered as a candidate from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc, constituency № 10, during the elections to the Ternopil Regional Council.

Social Activities

Petro Hadz is a member of the Supervisory Board of the Ternopil state medical university named after Gorbachevskyi.

State Awards - Title of the Hero of Ukraine with awarding the Order (Hero of Ukraine) of the State ( August 24,2012)- for outstanding personal merits before the Ukrainian State, in the development of agricultural production, introduction of the advanced technologies and modern forms of management and for many years of dedicated work.

- Award of the President of Ukraine – Jubilee Medal “ 20 Years of Independence of Ukraine” (June 27, 2012) – for significant personal merits in state building , socio-economic, cultural and educational activities, conscientious and impeccable service to the Ukrainian people and on the occasion of the Constitution Day of Ukraine.

- Honored Worker of Agriculture of Ukraine (June 26, 2008) – for significant personal contribution to the development of the constitutional foundations of Ukrainian statehood, many years of conscientious work, high professionalism and on the occasion of the Constitution Day of Ukraine.
