ABOUT

Svndy Martin is a multi-talented artist from Pietermaritzburg, best known for not conforming to the ways of boxing a talent. He is a singer, songwriter and a music producer. He has worked with a number of local upcoming artist which has shaped his sound to what it is now.

BACKROUND

Formally known as Sandile Freedom Martin, he was born on the 25th April 1994 and raised in a small town called Howick. Since he was a young boy he always wanted to entertain people through dance and as he grew older he fell in love with music composition after being introduced to hip hop by is late friend Mfundo Duma. After graduating high school, he couldn’t afford higher learning institutes and had a pressure to pursue for a 9 to 5 job to make ends meet and that’s when he took a step back from the art. In 2018 he then made a return and released an EP called Martin which he landed his debut interview on TV and Newspaper. In 2020 its follows by a second EP (Martin ep II) and covid hit us.
