Susan Templeton lives in Auckland New Zealand.

Her previous career in advertising and brand identity design was the foundation for a career move into the consumer advocacy space. Templeton studied financial management in the USA before becoming a mortgage adviser. She honed her consumer expertise in the run-up and downside of the GFC in the USA before returning to New Zealand in 2016 to form her own company. Now a homebuyer coach and mortgage adviser, Susan hosts free community workshops to assist people investing in real estate to make empowered choices. She manages a collegial base of other local experts in closely related industries (legal, construction, inspections, accounting, property management, etc.) who deliver specialized monthly presentations. Homeviews workshops are free and open to the public as a community service. Templeton is a member of the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron and Team Volunteer for The America's Cup A37.
