Started his career as an actor in 2013 and after experiencing music as a vocalist with Pakistan’s one the most innovative and progressive music ensembles (Sounds Of Kolachi) and (SouthAsian Ensemble) for almost 6 Years, Quaid is all set to hit the scene with his own music.

He has been actively participating in collaboration from artists of all backgrounds from all over the world, with his ensemble Sounds of Kolachi, he featured in Coke Studio 11 and went for a successful USA and Italy Tour in 2017 and in 2018.

He is also working as an assistant producer for quite a while.Some of his recent projects are Pepsi Battle Of The Bands 2017, where he worked with artists and bands like Atif Aslam,Fawad Khan,EP,Call, Meesha Shafi,Josh,Aaroh and many more. Quaid is currently producing his EP(Extended Play) with karachi based producers/song-writers like Hamza Junaid, Ahsan Bari and Shahid Rehman.

With his own idea of Pop and SouthAsian Music, Quaid Ahmed is in a constant search of a new sonic horizon.

EXPERIENCE:

· In 2016 his ensemble started to produce there first album called Elhaam with Mekaal Hassan then in 2017 Elhaam was released on 14 March right before 23^rd March when he with his ensemble went to USA Tour sponsored by Centre Stage and Cultural Exchange Program by State Department. In their US tour they performed in places like Savannah Music Festival and in one of most prestigious stages in the world (Millenium Stage, The Kennedy Centre, Washington, DC). Between 2014 to 2019 his ensemble performed on various local and international platforms like ViadelCanto (Italy in 2018), Funoon London (UK in 2018), Lahooti Music Melo in 2016 and in 2019), (Lahore Music Meet - 2016) (I am Karachi Music Fest - 2015) (Shan-e-Pakistan - 2016) (Coke Studio Season 11 in 2018) (Opened for South Asia’s biggest band “Junoon” on their reunion in 2018). As assistant producer he worked in Pepsi Battle of the bands in 2017 and in ATV Ramzan Transmission, where he worked with the industry giants like Fawad Khan, Atif Aslam, Faisal Rafi, Meesha Shafi, Shahi Hasan.
