The Event Grid is a practical tern given to communications between various stakeholders in projects.
The term "Event Grid" underscores the multiple levels of organisation that constitutes a minimal requirement of consultation channels for an action to evolve, including traditional and current platforms including WEB 2.0[1] technology portals.
For today’s Project Managers, the reliance on the postal service, a telephone and many weeks and months of planning timelines and behind us. Today, the use of internet communication channels[2] provides Real Time access to information from one stakeholder to another or from one stakeholder to multiple stakeholders. The introduction of WEB 2.0[3] and specifically the explosion in cloud computing[4] has enable communication channels to operate harmoniously at multiply levels allowing all stakeholders to be engaged simultaneously.
