Independent Councillor for City of Bad Iburg. Council Member since 1981.
Roland Mohrmann formally represented the National Green Alliance, German: Bündnis 90/Die Grünen and one of the longest serving members on the council. There are many newspaper articles that follow his time at the Council however all in German.
Roland Mohrmann studied at the University of Saarland and the University College Swansea in Wales before receiving his Masters. After working as an adviser at the German Research Foundation (DFG) he was appointed Branch Director of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in the U.S. teaching in New York and North Carolina. Roland returned to Germany and taught English and German at the Gymnasium (High School College) in Bad Iburg.
Also he served as a Volunteer at the AFS Intercultural Programs, formally American Field Service International Scholarships (AFS student exchange program).
