Steve Czarnecki was born on January 5th 1973 and was raised in Ojus Florida (part of North Miami Beach). After graduating in 1990, he took a few days off after high school and then dove straight into a TV production tech school. He attended four other schools learning and perfecting his skills in theater, radio, TV and film.
In 1992 Steve began an internship at a local radio station's morning show, which quickly turned into a six-year full-time employed position that evolved him into "Video Steve," the Y-100 Morning Show's wacky producer and on-air personality. In between working at the station at the crack of dawn, he also attended film school in the afternoon and juggled another part-time job at Blockbuster Video at night. In early 1998 he was offered a position as an associate producer for a new local kids TV show in South Florida, called "WAMI on Miami." In late 1999, "Wami on Miami" was cancelled. With his energy and experience, Steve landed a position at Radio Disney in South Florida where he helped launch the kids radio station as its promotions/marketing director and event host.
While on a vacation in California visiting his younger brother Rob in 2000, Steve ran into his old "Wami on Miami" executive producer who offered him a job in Los Angeles to produce a TV show for Disney/ABC with him. Steve jumped at the opportunity and never looked back. His first taste of how Tinseltown works happened soon after he relocated, when the show was suddenly cancelled while in pre-production. Despite the fact he was new to town and unfamiliar with Hollywood, Steve persevered and remained in Los Angeles, never doubting he'd fine more work. His perseverance paid off and he soon landed his next job, and many more followed.
Steve has worked steadily ever since on a variety of television reality & game shows for FOX, Warner Brothers, ABC, CBS, NBC, Discovery Channel Kids, Game Show Network, MTV, Vh1, G4TV and many others. He enjoys the opportunity to let his imagination, creativity, and a Rolodex of industry contacts marinate into some amazing entertainment on TV. Steve currently resides in Glendale, California.
