Starogre is a fat ogre who is from outerspace (from the website http://www.starogre.com). He wears a space helmet and a space suit for protection against evil. He has a star on the stomach portion of the suit which is how he got his name.
Most of the time he spends reading his newspaper or hanging out with his friend, Ogrestar (a star he met that has ogre ears) and his pet, named Rocko (a pet rock he found on the moon).
Occasionally, Dr. Shoo, his archnemesis and mad scientist, goblin-like creature, attempts to steal Rocko (obviously a ripoff of Team Rocket and Pikachu from Pokemon), but Starogre always gets him back. Dr. Shoo also uses his two projects, called Shoebees (giant, human-sized bee-looking creatures with giant shoes on their feet, and gloves on their hands), to help him do the dirty work.

'Starogre' was derived from the creator's two favorite games at the time, Starcraft, and Warcraft. He combined 'Star' from Starcraft and 'ogre' from Warcraft into one word, 'Starogre'. He then went through cycles and cycles of different forms and drawings until he looked like the one on his website (http://www.starogre.com).
He currently stars in two of his creators' Flash movies found here http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/338941 and here http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/203524. You will learn a lot by watching these two animations.
