User:Srrudesh

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The name "Srrudesh" is derived from the Sanskrit and Tamil languages. It is a combination of two words, "Shruthi" and "esh." "Shruthi" means "that which is heard" and references Hindu scriptures called the Vedas, considered to hold the timeless truths of the universe. "Esh" means "lord, master, or god."

In older Indian days, people were named after gods so that they could remember God even while communicating with their family. It is the technicality of the Sanskrit language as to why "Esh" should be at the end. Therefore, the meaning of the name "Srrudesh" is "Lord of all knowledge that is heard, which references the voice of everything that exists, will exist, has existed, or does not exist at all, transmitted by God, as per the Sanskrit texts."
