Ace is an Earth Pony with a gold body and a platinum blonde mane and tail. His symbol is a soccer ball. He first debuted in 1992 in My Little Pony Tales. A very athletic and confident male, Ace is Teddy's best friend and often his partner in influencing Lancer. He is the handsome jock of the school, and a dream date for many of the girls. Ace is a very sporty pony who enjoys soccer and many other activities. He has a crush on Melody, but this is largely unrequited.[citation needed]
