1 | "Actors Becoming Police" (Korean: 배우, 경찰 되다) | July 17, 2017
The show begins with the actors' first meeting over a meal. 9 days later, Joo-seung, Min-yong and Hyun-joon report to Jinan Police Station and are driven to Yongdam-myeon by Asst. Inspector Jeon. After finding their accommodation, Hyun-joon drags Joo-seung to find the village mart. However, without money, they have Dae-hwan get groceries on the way instead. Later, they have dinner with some visiting neighbours. The next morning, they rush to get ready and catch the bus, practicing the police anthem on the ride. After a unique initiation where they eat raw ginseng root, a regional specialty, they are officially appointed and ready to commence police duty.
2 | "A Dangerous Start to Work" (Korean: 위험한 출근) | July 24, 2017
After arriving at Yongdam Security Centre, the four are briefed on the jurisdiction, police equipment and administrative protocol. Night duty for Joo-seung passes quietly, until a report comes in about suspicious lights in a vacant house. He investigates with Asst. Inspector Jeon, but they find nothing except traces of shamanism from decades ago. The next morning, Hyun-joon and Min-yong give two residents a lift into town while on the way to a traffic safety campaign. Meanwhile, Dae-hwan gets busy cleaning the centre. Asst. Inspector Jeon clocks in 15 minutes early, but Joo-seung is barely on the way. Dae-hwan goes to pick him up, but a spontaneous coffee break ends in a late arrival anyway and reprimanding from Jeon. Centre Chief Lee then takes the two to examine the shaman house again. Despite some chilling discoveries, they find no evidence of criminal activity.
3 | "Strange Yet Familiar..." (Korean: 낯설지만 익숙한...) | July 31, 2017
Hyun-joon and Min-yong spend the morning at Jinan Market, educating locals on traffic safety and crime prevention. In the afternoon, Hyun-joon and Min-yong assist an elder suffering heat exhaustion, with Min-yong helping to drive his cultivator home. Later, Dae-hwan and Joo-seung go out on patrol and also inspect public restroom facilities. Responding to a call for help, they assist an elder whose mobility scooter ran out of battery, with big laughs ensuing when they struggle to understand her pronunciation. Later, night duty officer Min-yong goes on a night patrol, while the others go for a night walk accompanied by scary stories.

The next day begins with a busy schedule for the team. Hyun-joon and Dae-hwan are assigned to direct traffic for a bicycle race with Asst. Inspector Jeon, while Min-yong and Joo-seung board a boat with Centre Chief Lee to patrol Yongdam Lake. During afternoon patrol, Hyun-joon and Dae-hwan repeatedly encounter the same elder walking alone by the road and eventually drive her to see Yongdam Dam for the first time. Meanwhile, Min-yong enjoys a leisurely bike patrol, while Joo-seung passes a quiet afternoon at the centre. As the day ends, Centre Chief Lee surprises them by announcing that it's his last day of duty as he is retiring. The four are stunned, shedding tears alongside the Chief at the sudden farewell.
5 | "A Today Different From Yesterday" (Korean: 어제와 다른 오늘) | August 14, 2017

Splitting into two teams for the day, Min-yong and Dae-hwan leave first for Uniram Baniram Summer Police Substation to help patrol the vacation hotspot and ensure visitors' safety. Meanwhile, Hyun-joon and Joo-seung conduct welfare checks on senior citizens living alone. They encounter 95-year-old Grandma Hwang, the oldest person in her village, and promise to visit her again. After dinner, Hyun-joon and Dae-hwan repeatedly scare each other while patrolling abandoned houses on night duty. The next morning, the team prepare to meet the new centre chief, whose charisma flusters them. Hyun-joon requests to leave to help an elder he promised, but is immediately questioned by Centre Chief Cha.

Hyun-joon, Jung-jin and Dae-hwan report to Pohang North Police Station and are welcomed by Asst. Inspector Go from Season 2. He drives them to Pohang Ferry Terminal, where they’re stunned to meet their first female cop, Chung-ah. However, poor weather blocks access to Ulleungdo, resulting in a last-minute reassignment to Heunghae Substation on the mainland. After introductions, they go on their first patrol and see firsthand the devastation from the recent 2017 Pohang earthquake. A radio call dispatches them to an accident scene, where Dae-hwan and Chung-ah's teamwork shines. Back at the station, Hyun-joon helps take the drivers’ statements, Chung-ah works on her duty log, and Dae-hwan impresses with his quick reaction to a loud crash outside. Two alerts come in right after: Hyun-joon and Dae-hwan respond to a report of a car falling off a road, while Jung-jin and Chung-ah move out to the scene of a theft.
