Millhaven is a city located in Screven County, Georgia. The city is located in the northern part of the county on Brier Creek, and as of 2007 the population was 434.
History
[edit]Millhaven was deeply involved in the Battle of Brier Creek, an American Revolutionary War battle that was fought on March 3, 1779. Although the battle took place closer to the Savannah River, Millhaven is well known today because of the battle. The large Millhouse Plantation, which dates back to more than 200 years ago, is also a symbol of the city.
