Hi, I'm Sonia. I'm an architect and urban researcher with an interest in urban heritage and the recovery of post-war historic cities. I did my masters degree on post-war recovery of World Heritage cities in Syria, and for the last 10 years I've work as a conservation architect at the Directorate General of Antiquities and Museums in Syria. I also teach at Damascus University on topics relevant to historic preservation.
I'm new to Wikipedia, but I am hoping to learn how to merge academic knowledge into articles. Should anything I do here relate directly to my work, I will of course, declare any conflict of interest I might have.
