Stephen Richards is an investigative journalist and the author of several successful true crime books.[1] He is the founder of Mirage Publishing, which is based in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear.[2] He is also who also goes by the pseudonym The Golden Pen. He has trained in psychology and has worked as a mental health counsellor.

Books[edit]

Richards early works are about gangsters or former gangsters, whilst some of his later works are about the victims of crime, aspects of psychology, or Cosmic Ordering. He has written more than 60 books, including those written as sole author and those written as a co-author. He helped Charles Bronson write two books,[3] and other co-authors include: Paul Gascoigne, Ray Winstone, and Brian Cockerill.
