Roman religion
[edit]- Acacetus - () - not a deity but an occasional epithet (lit. "does nothing badly") of Hermes and Mercury, so probably belongs in their articles. Haploidavey (talk) 19:24, 8 January 2017 (UTC)

- Unxia (god), god of wedding anointments - () Unxia indicates a goddess; see entry at List of Roman deities#Unxia; a minor goddess of marriage, concerned with anointing the bridegroom's door. The name occurs as a surname of Juno; but might be best dealt with in context, at Marriage in ancient Rome. Or we might start a "Roman marriage deities" article. - Praegustatores, foretaster - () - this is a plural. Per standard WP articles, we'd use Praegustator (singular); the latter's mentioned in Food taster. Not sure we've enough to justify a separate article. Haploidavey (talk) 16:00, 8 January 2017 (UTC)

Gladiator types
[edit]- Andabatae (now redirect to gladiator) - ()
- Gaul (gladiator) - ()
- Laguerii – ()
Two of these can be found at List of Roman gladiator types. The first is listed there (in the Latin singular) as Andabata (exceedingly obscure, and a full article seems unlikely imo). It should not redirect to Gladiator, because the article does not mention it, and likely never will. The second is a Gallus, a type about which virtually nothing is known, beyond its likely "Gaulish" characteristics (whatever those were) and its likely renaming or replacement by the Murmillo - I suggest a redirect to the latter article, which should explain the change of name (?), and an entry in the List of types [PS - I've now added one] The correct spelling of the last is Laquearius (pl Laquearii), which has its own, overly speculative article.
