The Religion of Bennyism

Introduction

The Religion of Bennyism was founded very recently in the Fall of 2023. Its belief spreads off of the worshipping and rituals of the three great Bennyism gods. Benny Worm himself is the forefront of the religion, serving as its mascot, one of three holy gods, and the name itself.

History

The History of Bennyism is a complex and widespread topic. It dives down rabbit holes and long winding paths of demigods and important history and figures. Bennyism was formed on the night of November 8th, 2023, under the Blood Moon that night. It brought together many characters and figures once separated vastly in timelines and worlds. The three gods, The Lorax, Blue Lobster and Benny Worm, came together on the peak of Mt. Rogers, and swore an oath to the religion and the people who worship it. It formed three levels of organization, the Gods, Demigods, and the Lords. All three of these levels became holy figures in the religion. Bennyism still is worshipped to this day and holds a massive celebration on November 8th each year with candles, fireworks and presents.

Overview

Bennyism was created with the purpose of providing a sanctuary to all who do not feel welcome into any other religion. It is not a demanding religion, and only asks of love and peace to all who celebrate the religion. Although Bennyism may not be a large religion, it has proven to be a fun and enjoyable experience to those who decide to take on the adventure. Worshippings are usually held on Friday afternoons in dedicated Churches to Bennyism. These buildings can be anything, the shed or treehouse in your back yard, your living room, and if you are really dedicated to Bennyism you can even rent out a real church for services. The world is your oyster in Bennyism.

The Gods, Demigods and the Lords.

Bennyism is split into three holy levels. The Gods are the highest level, the Demigods are the second holiest, and the lords are the third. The three gods include: The Lorax, Blue Lobster and Benny Worm who came together to form this great religion. The Demigods include many important figures in the formation of Bennyism such as: Plankton, The Borax, Güb, Ronnie, Red Lobster, and the Duolingo Owl. The Last tier of holiness are the lords. Lords make up 75% of the Holy Few, and include many such as: Lightning McQueen, Napoleon Bonaparte, Smurf Cat, Dusty Crophopper, Amir "Big Boy", "The GOAT" The entire corporation of Wafflehouse, and Satan. The Lords and Demigods are not as commonly celebrated as there are too many. The Anti-Benny is Mr. Krabs himself as his ongoing rivalry with Blue Lobster has interfered with the religion. Some practices have been observed such as burning or stomping on a picture of Mr. Krabs or eating his crab brethren

Benny Worm's Origin

Benny Worm was created by the artist "Jack Stauber." He is a pinkish earthworm who wears sunglasses and smiles all day long. We celebrate the life of Benny Worm through prayers and dances.

The Lorax Origins

The Lorax was summoned in the Truffula Valley a very long time ago. He traveled many miles to meet on the peak of Mt. Rodgers to form Bennyism. The Lorax speaks for the trees and provides the key love of nature in the Benny Religion.

Blue Lobster Origins

Blue Lobster was born in Bikini Bottom, with his brother, Mr. Krabs. He grew up and waged war on his evil brother Mr. Krabs for destroying the crab race in Bikini Bottom and selling them in his burgers. He got the help of Plankton to defeat his brother. They soon traveled together to Mt. Rodgers to from Bennyism.

Criticism/Controversies

Many accusations have befallen Bennyism and its people. None of them have held any truth. The Siege on Bennyville was a major attack launched against the Holy City of Bennyville on November 15th, 2023. It was caused due to a mispreading of information that Benny Worm was hiring Blue Jays to kill his earthworm friends. These accusations proved to be false.

Future Outlook

Bennyism shall continue to grow for years to come. We hope to become more welcome and respected in society.
