But supporter contributions have always exceeded minimum requested by several multipliers. Has not edited many articles because he will only edit articles on which he has a lot of knowledge of either through education or work. Any edits by Skeptic50 are based on known facts, not speculation, not opinion. Speculation and opinion do not belong on Wikipedia. The belong on a personal blog or Reddit. HISTORY Skeptic50 has always lived in Texas though his ancestors came from Canada, the Netherlands, Scotland, Bohemia, Nebraska, and probably a couple of other European contrives/regions but he is not interested in doing a DNA submission and analysis because he is paranoid about doing that.

His father came from a small farming town in southern Minnesota and went to a small college for two years without declaring a degree when he was drafted into the U.S. Army during W.W. II and served in what is now called Yemen as part of an Intelligence Gathering group. After V-E Day he was sent to OCS (Officers Candidate School) and graduated as a Second Lieutenant in Logistics and was sent to the West Coast of America to help send supplies to support the Pacific War effort. After V-J he was honorably discharged nd returned to his home town for a few months and courted a young lady who had written to him during the War as part of the war effort. The both went to the University of Minnesota where he studied and graduated with a Chemical Engineering Degree under the GI Bill. The young lady studied housekeeping and history, she was not able to complete her degree. They married and he got two job offers: one in Saudi Arabia and one in deep South Texas with a power generation company. Having spent several years in the area of what is now Yemen, he had no desire to go back to that area to he took the job with the power generation company and end up in San Benito. TX. Most people have never heard of San Benito but they have heard of Harlingen which is about five miles north of San Benito. Long ago, according to my mother, the U.S. Air Force approached San Benito about building an Air Force base their. The San Benito leaders said "NO" so the Air Force approached the Harlingen leaders who said, "You bet we want you base." So Harlingen became known throughout Texas and is a Southwest Airline destination today while San Benito is known mainly to those of us who lived there.
