Psycho Bonus Stage is a collaborative fan-project for the popular Bonus Stage, created by Matt Wilson. The collaborators, Rubyrulez, Hagurumon, Mandy, Psychosis, Shadowflash, and Rusty (who are newcomers and are yet to be introduced), work on the episodes on a wiki hosted by YesIAmAnIdiot, a friend (who could soon be animating the fanseries).
History
Psycho Bonus Stage began late December 2005 as a one-man project, and the episode scripts were hosted on the Bonus Stage Fanstuff Wiki. However, after the first four episodes, a call went out for guest stars for the next series of episodes, Fanbase Adventures. Thus, Rubyrulez, Hagurumon and Mandy were recruited, along with Clan rHrN.
There was fun to be had scripting the first four episodes, and we noticed Clan's contributions, whose scripting some of the crew didn't like.
By the ninth scripted episode, Psychosis mostly considered them an official part of PBS (lol, Public Broadcasting Service). Focus on the fanproject waned for several months (the months after Matt Wilson first declared the end of the official Bonus Stage), but they still gathered on the freeforum101 forum we had put up.
At this point, Clan had been banned from contributing, as his additions to scripts and habit of editing plots to his will were, to put it in the words of one contributor (Mandy), "moronic". There was a tendancy for him to feature the same "one-time characters" over many episodes. The guest characters he chose were not accepted by most of the crew. When Clan became disallowed from contributing, the episode "Fan's Last Stand" was modified to include Clan being shot by the Deletion Gun, and being removed from the series. However Clan considered himself still an official part of the show, and continued to edit character pages, episode scripts, and plots.
At the time of writing, the crew are working on Episodes 1-5 (and have 6-25 done), due to the cancellation of Bonus Stage.
