Bhalachandra Jayashetty (Kannada: ಭಾಲಚಂದ್ರ ಜಯಷೆಟ್ಟಿ) (Hindi:भालचंद्र जयशेटटी) (b. 1939)is a Hindi and Kannada writer/translator from Karnataka, India.
Life
[edit]Jayashetty was born in 1939 in the village of Rajeshwar in the holy town of Basavakalyan of Bidar district. He received his bachelor's degree from Karnatak University, Dharwar and Master's degree in Hindi from Karnatak University, Dharwar.
Jayashetty started his career with the Department of Collegiate Education, Karnataka in 1965 and taught Hindi at various Government Colleges across Karnataka. He retired as Principal of Government College Bidar, in 1997. He has published
