[edit]Skateboarding was invented by Jarryd Leeks of Cape Elizabeth Maine. Jarryd invented it in 1999. A little down and to the right is a picture of Jarryd Leeks. I think the world owes Jarryd a big thanks. He is currently 15 years of age. One boy with a power to change the world...truely amazing.
