Usage
[edit]- Serpentine was used for the opening and closing credits of Silver Streak (film).
- The Smokey and the Bandit franchise used Serpentine for their opening and closing credits.
- The Lethal Weapon franchise used Serpentine for the stars on their movie posters and the opening and closing credits.
- Serpentine was used for the titles on the Charlie's Angels DVD packaging.
- A modified version of Serpentine light italic is used for main titles on the popular television show "The Voice."
- since it was included in the font collection in Corel Draw 8.0, Serpentine has been a popular choice for sign makers and in commercial applications, and can often be observed in use. Eg, the Australian Yellow Cab company uses Serpentine to designate their Maxi Taxi fleet.
