Syed Ahmed Shah is an Indian Film Maker, Photojournalist. He has produced several short films and documentaries that have received tremendous recognition.[1] Shah has gained international recognition for his powerful photo story on child labor in India.[2] He developed an early interest in film making and photography and pursued it as a career.[3]

In 2018, Shah embarked on a project to document the plight of child laborers in India,[4] capturing their daily struggles and hardships through his camera lens. His work brought to light the harsh realities of child labor in India, exposing the inhumane conditions under which many children are forced to work.[5]

Shah's photo story on child labor in India gained widespread attention and was featured in various international media outlets such as Forbes, Aljazeera, The Guardian, The Brussels Times, The Globe and Mail Canada, etc. His powerful images have helped raise awareness about the issue and have contributed to a growing movement to end child labor in India.[6]

Through his work, Shah has demonstrated the power of photography to bring about social change and has inspired many to take action against child labor and other forms of exploitation.[7] Today, he continues to use his talent and his camera to shed light on important social issues and to give a voice to those who are often marginalized and overlooked.[8].
