There are currently hundreds of IP ranges that constitute New York that also fall within the category of "previously edited Wikipedia"[1] I was originally under the impression it would be rare to be assigned an IP who had edited an article related to my interests. I then went to Wikiscanner to find out, I search IP's that belong to the New York, New York and also Road Runner category only. The result of a cursory examination of only 5 blocks (out of 150+ & 160,000+ edits) is the following:

• IP's that have edited articles relating to interests of Nuclear:

These similarities were garnered only after looking at 5 of the 100+ ranges presented. As you can see, September 11th and the events surrounding it are topics of interest for many New Yorkers. Further a complete list detailing all IP activity from New York Road Runner lines would still exclude all users who have accounts and live in New York City, Wikiscanner only shows IP edits. When going about cherry-picking evidence, any one of these accounts can the be labeled as myself, regardless of how common the topics are. An important note is Wikiscanner only contains 3 months of activity, so in my limited sampling of the total ranges (5 of 250+), from an even smaller sampling of the time frame (last 3 months), its is quite clear many New Yorkers edit Wikipedia (obviously) and further they edit topics in the same relation as my self, or in the same relation as Nuclear.

To expand on the point above. Within my IP segment that is noted 74.73.16.* exists 7 others editing Wikipedia. I now believe, contrary to prior, the edits to the template were most likely not mine. The 1 month block in editing does not fit, nor does the likely hood of the IP returning after release. The IP editors found within my block are: 74.73.16.62 - 74.73.16.94 - 74.73.16.103 - 74.73.16.121 - 74.73.16.188 - 74.73.16.231 - 74.73.16.252

A final and yet important note. My IP on Wikiscanner is classified not as Brooklyn, New York but, as New York, New York. The above search results leave out the 90 or so Brooklyn, New York Road Runner IP's. The total at this point for IP ranges editing from New York City is bordering on 250+ The above sampling found positive hits in comparisons with less than 2.5% of the possible ranges being observed, in a period only covering the limited 3 months Wikiscanner contains data for.
