Has anyone read this? [1] I'm adding this on Laciner page, if there was still any evidences needed to support that Laciner is one of a psychiatric cases, a racist. No further evidences is needed. Fad (ix) 20:39, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

It's interesting how the media controls human behavior. In this case, it's all about creating reasons for people to kill; the first step to this end is the dehumanization of the target victim(s). As in the Ottoman Empire during World War I which culminated in the Armenian Genocide, the media is being used today in Turkey to mobilize nationalist sentiment against Armenians (and other minorities). During the Genocide, it was because the Armenians were "plotting" with the Russians, that Armenians were bringing the "machines of the devil" (agricultural machines which were taking jobs away), etc. Today, it's the labeling by the Turkish government that Hrant Dink "insulted Turkishness", leading nationalist Turks to believe he was an internal enemy, thus inciting his killing. Now, even after the fact, we are seeing the same type of denial associated with the genocide. Surely the killing of Armenians was not racism, mass extermination; surely the killing of Hrant Dink was not racism. Only this time, there's no denying he was killed.

The following should clear up any delusions and counter-propaganda circulating in Turkey (which "justified" the killing in the minds of the assassins in the first place):

"Hayal allegedly told the killer that Dink, who angered nationalists by calling the mass killing of Armenians in the early 20th century genocide, was ``a traitor to his country who insults Turks."

2007: 1) dehumanization ("insulting Turkishness"), 2) killing and 3) denial.

1915: 1) dehumanization ("internal enemies"), 2) killing and 3) denial
