Stockholm Lisboa Project is a Portuguese/Swedish folk music band consisting of Simon Stålspets (mandola), Sérgio Crisóstomo (violin), Liana (vocalist), Filip Jers (harmonica ). Founded in 2006 they are based in Sweden and Portugal, and have received the German Record Critics' Award [1] and a nomination to the Songlines Music Awards[2] 2010.
The group has played live radio concerts for RDP in Portugal (2007, 2008, 2009), SR in Sweden (2007), WDR in Germany (2009) and YLE in Finland (2008), as well as concerts in festivals and concert halls around the world.
Members
[edit]- Liana (vocalist) started gaining recognition in Portugal after winning two times the Grande Noite do Fado in Coliseu dos Recreios and for playing the role of Amália Rodrigues in the Filipe La Féria famous musical "Amália".
- Filip Jers started gaining recognition after winning the World Harmonica Festival in Trossingen (2005). He was the first harmonica student to be accepted in the Royal College of Music in Stockholm.
