Arnold "Arnie" Cunningham is the main protagonist turned anti-villain of Stephen King's 1983 novel, Christine. Arnie is depicted as a nerdy teenager who's only friend is football player, Dennis Guilder. Arnie eventually becomes infatuated with a 1958 Plymouth Fury named "Christine". The car appears to have a mind of its own and a jealous personality, which results in drastic personality changes in Arnie, who begins to resemble a 1950's greaser. Arnie is portrayed by Keith Gordon in the John Carpenter directed film adaptation of the same name.
