Tramways in Rome
The city of Rome, Italy, has a tramway system which exists with the Metro (subway) and buses.
Today, ATAC operates 8 lines, using the mostly the Cityway II model.
History
[edit]Rome looks back to its tramways for over 100 years.[specify] The system has been downgraded significally since.
Between 1943 and 1949, several Roman tram cars were used in Munich Germany because of war losses.[1]
